An existing package for a law-firm for
taking care of their internal working. This
package was originally developed by their
in-house programmers in Foxpro. In the first
phase, we converted the entire package on
Visual Foxpro 6.0. In the second phase, this
entire application has been made web-based.
For the initial study of the system, our
representatives had gone to US. The Data
Modeling was done and approved there only.
The actual development work is being done
in our office in India.

We are part
of the team for development of ASPs for
a Financial Model using Visual Interdev
( VBScript, JavaScript and MS-SQL 7.0).
We work interactively with our US partners
through e-mail and conference calls setup
by our partners in US. We are fully utilizing
the time-difference between the two countries.
Data
Processing
This project
we are handling since April, 1998. It
involves processing Oil Well Logs as
per the standards laid down by the US
company. We are using the proprietary
software supplied by them and data is
stored in a database (MS-Access). The
data is sent to them on daily basis.
Initially we were awarded a pilot project
for three months. Based on our excellent
performance, our project was extended
indefinitely till they have unprocessed
data with them. We have developed our
own software for day-to-day monitoring
of the logs processed by each processor
and QC In-charge. This software helps
us in monitoring our target for the month.
